We're the go to team for production support of promotional, creative shoots, films, and events while also making Actual Play, YouTube, and Twitch content.
Jasper William Cartwright
Jasper William Cartwright is an actor and producer across multiple mediums including TV, Film, Podcast & Video Games. He is starring in leading roles for an upcoming feature film & TV series, while also playing large supporting characters in video games, including Sven in Dragons Dogma 2 and Errol in War Groove 2.
Since founding and hosting the award-winning 3 Black Halflings podcast, Jasper has established himself as a key figure in the TTRPG scene and has subsequently guested on countless Actual Play shows including Not Another DnD Podcast (2022), Dark Dice (2023), The Dungeon Run (2022), Dimension 20's Burrows End (2024), Critical Role's Re-slayer's Take (2024), and collaborating with Zac Oyama on the Rotating Heroes Podcast as the Game Master.
As CEO of 12 Sided Studios, Jasper leads sales, our creative efforts, as well as day-to-day operations.
Chad Pytel
Chad Pytel is a long-time player of Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs. With a background in software development and design, as well as theater and video production, Chad has spent the last 21 years working in the tech world as Founder and CEO of thoughtbot, a web and mobile design and development agency.
Chad has coauthored multiple books, presented at conferences around the world, and is also co-host of the Giant Robots Smashing Into Other Giant Robots Podcast.
A long-time follower of Jasper's work in the TTRPG space, including 3 Black Halflings, Jasper and Chad first played together in 2023 at a company-retreat for thoughtbot, shortly followed by D&D in a Castle. Chad is thrilled to be leveling up his life-long hobby with 12 Sided Studios.
As Executive Producer of 12 Sided Studios, Chad leverages his business and technical experience for our operations.
Jess Jewell
Jess Jewell is a producer, editor, and writer based in the UK, and is known for her roles in the TTRPG live show and stream Questing Time, as well as being the Producer of the award-winning podcast 3 Black Halflings.
Jess has also been an actual play performer and GM for the UK’s popular comedy live D&D show Questing Time, and has extensive experience producing live comedy at conventions, resulting in multiple successful sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and mainstage sell-outs at Insomnia Gaming Festival.
Jess has extensive experience with YouTube channel management, working with channels to produce videos that have totalled more than 1 billion views.
As Producer of 12 Sided Studios, Jess manages our studio and keeps our many projects running smoothly.
